more!

Mis amigas de Basque Country Ixone a la derecha, Mireia a la izquierda. Estamos en la "Ring of Kerry." Extrano ellas mucho, pero en el Espanol de Espana, "Extranar" no significa "to miss," significa "strange..." Jaja. Oops.

Pssht. Signs. What do they know?
Phew. Ok. Now that I have put up some much delayed pictures, a little more about the past few days. I am in Brugge/Bruges now, and I'm really tired after the past 24 hours - yesterday I started in Killarney with Ixone and Mireia, and we ended up taking a bus tour of the ring instead of renting a car - when we went to pick up the car it was a manual, and I decided learning to drive a manual and learning to drive on the left side of the road should not occur on the same day. Probably a good idea, as the road was pretty treacherous! After the tour I was very sad to part ways with the other two, they were going to Cork but I was catching en evening train to Dublin so I could fly out this morning. In summary, my past day went something like this: Bus (Ring of Kerry), Train (Dublin), Bus, Taxi, Plane (Brussels), Train, Bus (Bruges). Sigh. Tomorrow I will explore the city more, I am liking it so far (very green, canals, bicycles everywhere, beer, waffles, you know) but for now I am taking a break. Bruges was intended to be my "vacation from my vacation" anyway, which means that my only priorities while I'm here the next two days are: Beer sampling, waffle and chocolate eating, and relaxing.

  2. I have a picture with the same "do not go beyond this point" sign! I agree with your take on that: "Ohhhh...you mean this point?"
