Callander

I am in love with Scotland after Callander. After a tiring day of museums, the Castle, and getting lost in Glasgow; I took the bus to Callander - it was late and I missed my connection and was tired and freezing by the time I got in. Needless to say, I was SO excited to finally arrive at my cute little B&B, with a room all to myself, and complimentary tea. This morning I had a delicious breakfast and chatted up a fellow B&Ber from an hour away - He predicted that I would fall in love with a man in a kilt and never leave. Well, I don't know about the "man" or "kilt" part, but I sure fell in love with Callander. I went for a walk out to Bracklinn Falls in the morning, a gorgeous woodsy walk to some really spectacular falls that I wish I could show you! I came back to town, ate at a very cute cafe and visited basically every shop in Callander, and then rented a bike to ride along some old train tracks running to a nearby town. Fluffy clouds, fluffy sheep, sun, pastures and mountains, really beautiful. After warming up with some tea I hopped the bus to Stirling, where I am currently resting my legs after all that activity. Tomorrow I will visit Stirling Castle, which I keep passing on buses - it looks very dramatic up on that bluff, more on it later!
